Lovely place to stay with a beautiful outlook gret room and delicious food. Would stay here again. Love the decor.

Staff not that friendly,

The room was spacious, clean and modern. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was small but adequate for an overnight stay. The receptionist was very nonplussed the cat was more welcoming. I paid for a lake view but we only got a partial view and you had to crane your neck to see it! We ate in a pub/inn a bit down the road, so cannot comment in the food. At £80 I expected it to include breakfast but that was an extra £10 per person so didn't eat there. Overall enjoyed our stay but probably wouldn't go back again.

Louise was the greatest host, server and bartender. The House was in a great, quiet location - our window looked out over Loch Ness, WOW! Wish we had spent more days there. We were also across the road from Foyers Waterfall. One of our best memories in Scotland. Thanks

We arrived a bit early, but as stated you can not get in a minute before 4:30, which I feel if a bit late with a early 10:30 check out time, at £80 a night I would have preferred a bit more time to relax and enjoy my stay. If you are staying more than one night make sure you ask for a front door key or you will be locked out between the hours of 10:30 and 16:30, if you don't ask you will not be given one! This was highlighted when fellow guests tried to get back to their room at 15:15 and were greeted by a rather rude and heated discussion from the owner. Our room was spacious, clean and we had a good wi-fi signal. The twin room was advertised with a lake view (Loch Ness), this was true, apart from you needed to have your nose up against the window and look to your right to see it, (not quite what I was expecting) and in one of the advertising pictures it shows a picnic table overlooking the loch, which looks only yards away - slightly misleading as the Loch it is a 1.3 mile and a 28 minute walk away. The only real issue I had was that this hotel advertises that no dogs or cats allowed, that is one of the reasons I booked it, but to my horror there were two black cats that had a free run of the place, one of which woke me up at 5:00am outside my door. With doors left open between properties the cats were seen in the hotel, bar, restaurant and reception areas!

The Foyers was a lovely, clean place set back from the road. From the modern decked patio at the back was a lovely view of Loch Ness and there was a fixed telescope available for use too. The staff and Management were lovely down to earth people who took time to chat with guests. The room was so warm, cosy, well decorated and had everything we needed. We'll DEFINATELY be returning to The Foyers again in the future. A friend of ours has already booked there too.
