Dalys Inn

The room was not very clean, I can’t recommend this hotel to anyone. The cost was very high for the quality of the room. I would not have stayed if I realized what condition was. It was located very close to the New grange area to visit so it was convenient for the location.

Sorry to offer we were very disappointed with this accommodation. We are mature and seasoned B&B travelers and found Dalys Inn to be nothing but the bare basics. For the same price, we have had lavish rooms, hospitality and pleasantries. Here we found bare rooms, a sliver of a blanket, barking dog for hours and a green light in the ceiling that was far too bright for comfortable sleep. The bartender next door was pleasant enough and gave us our room keys, but there is no warm welcome here and far too pricey for what we did and did not get. Would recommend as a last resort only and I'm saddened to report it this way.

Fantastic food in the restaurant, nice comfy beds clean tidy rooms, and friendly staff. The beer and n the bar was top notch too, what more could you ask for

All was well except that there was an engine noise which went on intermittently all night. This was in room 9 right at the back of the building - I wouldn’t know if it affected other rooms. I don’t know if it was something like air-conditioning but it wasn’t particularly hot weather. This disturbed our sleep. The site of the Inn was excellent for visiting Newgrange, which is why we were there.

Overall the place was a bit grotty. Food in the bar was only ok. Some drunken clientele were very boisterous late at night fighting in the car park and someone decided to set the fire alarm off at 4 am. Hairdryer literally fell apart in my wife's hands . Shower took 10 minutes to warm up . Over all not too impressed.

Very happy friendly staff, we enjoyed staying in a pub with live music and a great atmosphere

Nice place,great price ,the staff where lovely and friendly and they went out of there way to sort travel for us to get us where we needed to go ,we would stay again.

It was a nice last minute stay.

The place has everything, it is a pub, a hotel, a restaurant it is amazing, everything is clean and tidy

Excellent place. Friendly, helpful staff, nice people in bar and in village. Very reasonably priced. I will go again.
