Taj Falaknuma Palace

Many places have 5 stars and some of them really don’t deliver….this one really does. Grand but not too ostentatious. The staff are exceptional-it would be impossible to single out any individual or team. Yes, it’s more expensive than the other hotels in Hyderabad, but you do get value for the stay. The breakfast is well worth it, but other food and drink is a bit OTT, but a quick Uber can take you to a variety of decent restaurants. Also, I would suggest avoiding the hotel airport shuttle, it is about ten times the price of a decent Uber! From talking to other guests, the semi-inclusive packages are much better value than buying room only and adding on. But, whatever, this is a serious hotel and if you want 5 star you will get it!

You need to experience their service , care and support to understand what I am saying. Wonderful experience at a Palace Hotel. Great atmosphere, wonderful surroundings and being at a height gives one a beautiful sight at night. Latha Suresh is a very good leader and has a good team consisting of Sunaina, Aruna, Punam, Kavya, Archana, Mr Rao, Elizabeth, Madhavi nd Paul/Peter. Why I mention these employees is because they have gone out of their way to make us feel at home, safe and secure and always willing to help. This definitely reflects of good culture they have imbibed. All the best to the Team Taj Falaknuma !!

It was an amazing experience at Taj Falaknuma Palace. It started off with a tour of the palace followed by a 5 course meal at Ada restaurant. Lovely food and lovely hospitality by Sumanth, Sudhakar and Nasar.

It was really a great experience overall. It was indeed royalty treatment Special mention to Goutham and Nasar. Both of them took great care of us. Truly a mesmerising experience. We went for anniversary staycation and the team made it very special. The royal horse drawn carriage experience was beautiful. Staff hospitality was top notch. We were welcomed with rose petals and the room was tastefully decorated with flowers and chocolates. High tea, Guided palace tour and Qawaali performance were the highlights of our stay. Food was exquisite. Bicycle ride in the garden filled with peococks was great. We would like to thank the reception staff and Mr Sudhakar, Mr Nazar and Mr Sumant for the warm hospitality. Special thanks to the flutist Mr Surender ji for the beautiful melodious music on our anniversary morning. And also Mr KV Rao ji for the beautiful photo shots. Highly recommend this property. A special occasion made even more special with beautiful memories

The arrival is unforgettable. Driving up, the carriage, the rose petals falling, the splash of rosewater, iYou feel like you’re stepping into something grand, not just checking into a hotel. The grounds are flawless, especially at night. Lit up, the palace glows like Hyderabad’s pearls. I stayed in one of the heritage rooms in the main palace. The attention to detail is on another level. Coming back to a bathtub filled with water and rose petals, proper turndown, sweets and fruits generously laid out. Service throughout is warm and polished. The staff carry themselves in a way that makes you feel like you are a guest of the Nizam. Breakfast at the veranda overlooking Hyderabad has its own charm. The same space transforms at night. If you’re there during the call to prayer, with the mosques echoing in sync, it’s something special. The palace tour was excellent. The guide had a certain authoritative presence that actually fit the setting. The food was outstanding—rich, flavorful, and memorable. Afternoon tea though was underwhelming. It felt more like a corporate tea break than a proper high tea experience. The only issue I had was with the concierge, and it was not a small one. I sent a very detailed request with specific places and timing. It didn’t need creativity, just execution. Instead, I was sent generic tour packages that didn’t match my request. All they had to do was read my email and connect me with a suitable guide. Because of that, I had to arrange everything myself, which ended up horribly. It is simply not the same as having it handled properly by a local team with the right connections, and it completely changed the experience outside the palace. If the concierge had simply done their job properly, the entire experience would have been seamless.
