A great place with great atmosphere. We spotted horses and peacocks which my toddler liked! Breakfast was good. The only con is the place is a bit far from the city and the road leading to the stay is patchy.

I would recommend to spend at least 1 night in Umeed palace if you are in Jodhpur. This place is so amazing worth to spend a day in palace. Enjoy there services, food roaming in palace, candle light dinning.

We spent two nights here as part of a tailor made five week trip around India so it was chosen for us by our travel agent. The hotel is on a very busy road a little bit outside central Jodhpur (about half an hour drive from Mehrangarh Fort and the centre). The hotel is set in extensive grounds which meant that as soon as we turned into the driveway we entered a peaceful and tranquil place and the noise and hustle and bustle of outside is forgotten. It seemed that there were not many people staying in the hotel and it was very quiet. The afternoon we arrived, we spent it by the pool and had it all to ourselves! The grounds are lovely and so beautiful at night when it's all lit up. The evening meals were good; we had a la carte one night and buffet the other night we were there. Staff were pleasant and friendly. Our garden view room overlooked the courtyard and was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. We would recommend the Ummed for its peaceful and relaxing environment, clean rooms and good food.

The room was clean, neat, and comfortable, providing a relaxing environment throughout the stay. The front office staff were very helpful, courteous, and professional, always ready to assist with any requests and making the check-in and overall experience smooth and hassle-free. Their warm and friendly attitude truly stood out and made me feel welcome as a guest. The overall atmosphere of the property was calm and well maintained, and the location was convenient. I was very satisfied with my stay and would gladly recommend this place to others, as well as choose to stay here again in the future.
