Ryokan très bien situé le long de la rivière. Le cadre est exceptionnel, le ryokan conjugue parfaitement confort et tradition. Le personnel était particulièrement attentionné et attentif . Les repas de grande qualité, les onsens agréables . Un des meilleurs ryokans de mes voyages au Japon.

The slippers were not comfortable and we ate in a dinning area that was very unpleasant.

Le Ryokan est magnifique et reposant (au calme, au milieu de la verdure). Les bains sont très agréables : avec mon compagnons, nous avons utilisé le bain privatif gratuit ainsi que les bains séparés (en exterieur). Pour ma part, j’etais seule dans le bain exterieur, un bonheur! Le personnel est adorable, gentil et souriant. Les repas étaient très beau, très bon et originaux. Nous avons pu profiter d’une balade nocturne dans la forêt de bambou voisine. Une expérience au top!

The location.

The food was very average for its price of the room. Also, the room facilities provided was not as good as similar ryokans I visited in the past.

The room had a beautiful view into a zen garden. The facility had many bathhouses that one could enjoy, there was a huge variety of food provided so we could try many different authentic Japanese foods. The staff was extremely professional and nice.

Although the dinned had many different dishes, most of them were very small and some were not to our taste, which is okey, but after dinner we were all still hungry but because everything in the town closes at 5 PM and there was no “convenience store” in the hotel, we could not buy anything more to eat and had to wait foe breakfast. Also you can hear your neighbors in other rooms, especially upstairs, which I guess is also to be expected from this type of Japanese accommodation.
