The location of this hotel is spot on, right in the middle of everything. The old part of the hotel is very luxurious and grand, it makes the stay so special. The breakfast is lovely with lots of choice and kept us going until our evening meal. We enjoyed relaxing in the bar/lounge area before going out for our evening meal and stopping for a cocktail afterwards too. It’s just so regal but relaxing. ☺️ A special mention to Jay in the bar for looking after us :) all the staff were lovely and helpful.

Carpets and some furnishings in the rooms are starting to look a bit tired. E.g, stains on the carpets. We did find that our bar orders took a long time to come with the bar being busy and 1 member of staff on duty. They were getting caught up with bar orders as well as trying to serve people in the lounge areas.
