The interior design is simple, bright and appealing. The air conditioning in the room was excellent, which is not always the case in Maine properties - even in very expensive ones.

Very comfortable private and quiet hotel. Lots of space with sitting areas. Very comfortable bed with luxury linens. Bathroom a little tiny in the Cupola Suite. Cottages very charming! Close to town and other local attractions…

This property was in an excellent location. We stayed in the suite on the top floor of the original house. Tons of room for hanging out. Breakfast was great. Service was amazing.

What a great stay at AWOL. We will definitely be back! I only gave it a 4 stars vs 5 stars as room was a little musty smelling and our phones wouldn’t charge in the outlets but worked with our same plug in our cars. Seems like moisture was a little issue.
