Fontana Village Inn

I ended up not staying at Fontana Inn. The rates were high for what was offered, though that is somewhat expected during the peak season. Management was cooperative after an Expedia agent spoke with them and agreed to refund most of the amount, but they did penalize me with a $30 charge, saying it was an Expedia commission. Unfortunately, they refused to provide a receipt for that fee. Overall, I was satisfied not to have paid the full price and only lost $30, but the experience felt a bit unclear and could have been handled more transparently.

Very clean, comfortable , quiet.

Not close to anything walkable. No pool.

Big comfy rooms. Kind staff.

Beds weren’t super comfortable.

It was walking distance to a restaurant, gas station, and coffee shop plus a 5-10 min drive to half a dozen other restaurants. We were away from the business of LG, but close enough to drive to it when we wanted to. The facilities were clean and the staff was friendly.

Although the interior was clean, it could be updated just slightly to be more visually appealing. (Even new bedding would make a difference)
