Inn at Ardgour

The inn was cute. Staff offered laundry services for a fee, which was helpful.

Necessity of ferry to get back and forth, which is 17USD each way and can also lead to waits. Breakfast was way over priced. Room was cramped and I could hear the alarm from the ferry starting every morning at 6:30am.

I had a lovely stay at the Inn at Ardgour! The staff were incredibly friendly. The location is perfect for anyone seeking a quiet getaway, accessible by ferry, which adds to its charm. The Full British breakfast was delightful, and the overall atmosphere of the inn is cozy and welcoming. If you stay here, I highly recommend checking out Ardgour Ales nearby!

While the rooms are admittedly a little worn and due for an update, this hotel has a wonderful personality and warmth you can't replicate. It's still a highly recommended place to stay.

A gem, both for location and comfort, not to mention the welcoming owners and the great restaurant. If you are visiting the area and want to avoid Fort William (overcrowded) this place can be warmly recommended.

Access is easiest via Corran ferry (on the opposite shore where the main road runs) but service is good (and the ferry ride is itself part of the charm...)

This is a very interesting hotel and if anyone is looking for modern decor with all the fancy trimmings then this is not for you. However, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The meals were very good but the restaurant was somewhat basic. Overall, we were happy with our stay and would certainly return next time we are in this location.

Some adverse comments have been made about the noise from the ferry but this didn't bother us and we were in a room overlooking the jetty.

Location right on the edge of the loch is spectacular. Dinner & breakfast (whilst not”fine dining” ) were excellent.

Whilst very clean, the whole place was rather in need of a facelift. It has a lot of potential.
