"Great to find a hotel we know we shall be happy to use again."

The hotel is situated in the centre of Villandraut, a French town with ancient castle. The hotel itself is old but has been modernised and outdoor seating and tables are in the tree lined square. It is a family run hotel and the owner is also a highly qualified chef. The hotel prides itself on buying everything from small local suppliers. Guests eat very well indeed!

Centre of the village good parking availability

We were checked in in the morning and shown to our room.After touring the town we came back in the afternoon when the reception was closed to find we had no access to the room since we were not provided with a security code to access the room during reception downtime.The Wi-Fi was non existent and did not work even though I brought it to their attention.The female staff were cheeky and we were charged €7~ for Teo cup-sprintin of coffee

"Great food in a typical French logis auberge hotel"

Super setting, small hotel facing onto a small square In a lovely village in French wine country.. Really comfortable bed. Room had super view over front of hotel. Excellent hand prepared food, beautifully served. Delicious breakfast with fresh warm croissants. In the town you can walk to a medieval castle. For keen cyclists there are lots of cycle paths and quiet roads. For the wine lovers, Sauternes and other AOC are a short trip away,

Nothing, this is a typical logis.

"Disappointing."

The request for some gluten-free options was ignored. We were told they never read the requests lodged via Booking.com which is simply unacceptable. The restaurant food was not of the standard we have come to expect from Logis.

Nice hotel with a good restaurant and very friendly service. Parking right in front of the hotel ( in a cute village ) so that's practical. No air conditioning, could be a problem in summer and also the reception closes for several hours at noon which is not practical. Breakfast a bit "too french" for my taste ( not much choice ) Overall a good experience though, I would repeat.
