Kirra Surf Apartments

Large Space and size. Modern Miele appliances. Comfortable beds. Nice furniture and big fridge.

Cupboards need a deep clean. Stick vac or vacuum cleaner would be nice. TV’s a little old. Pool on terrace was very cold water. Could benefit from some outdoor furniture e.g deck chairs/outdoor umbrella.

A few more nice bowls for salad.

Pool was empty! Kids were very upset!

Great location, clean and beautiful apartment and views.

Nothing really but would recommend having basic cooking supplies (ie. salt, pepper, oil).

Close to the Beach and Restaurants

We had been staying at Kirra Beach for 3 years. We stayed at Kirra Surf apartments 2024 and our 1st stay was Excellent so we booked again. This time they had upgraded us from a 2 Bedroom Ocean view apartment to a 3 Bedroom apartment without contacting us. We checked into our apartment and the 2 back bedrooms were overlooking the Highway with traffic and paddock views. We walked into the living room and only part of the apartment had a brief glimpse of the ocean the other half was looking at a Rotunda Building. The only Ocean view was the Master Bedroom. The air conditioning was broken and it was absolutely stiffling hot, both my Husband and I were sweating and felt very uncomfortable as there was no ceiling fans. My Husband went down to see the Receptionist and asked if we could be moved to another apartment and he told the Lady its not the room we had booked on line with Booking.com. She said that we must have booked it through air BNB, and my Husband said no my wife never books with Air BNB she always uses booking.com. She said that they were sold out. We saw on a piece of paper that if any problems after hours No. To call. My Husband spoke to a lovely Lady Emily and she said that she would contact the Managers and she explained to my Husband how to reset the air conditioner. He did this 3 times and it would work for a minute or 2 then it stopped. I then got a call from Management and was told through no extra money that we were originally booked on the 1st Floor and upgraded us to the 3rd Floor to give us better views. I said that it was a lovely thought but who gave you the right to upgrade us to a 3 Bedroom apartment without our permission and that we were disappointed with the non Ocean views and I explained the 2 single bedrooms had no views whatsoever and she argued with me, stating yes they do have ocean views.
