Kristalli Hotel Apartments

We have just left this fantastic hotel as a family of 2 adults and 2 children. The hotel was in a great location and the staff were so helpful clearly a nice family run business. The rooms were spotless and cleaned everyday. Good value for money for a family holiday.

Amazing stay here for the May half term would definitely recommend close to everything perfect for the kids. Bars & restaurants all close by weather was a little hit & miss but that can’t be helped in May. Family run hotel food & drinks on the complex are great & it’s all reasonably priced.

As we booked this hotel as a late deal we didn’t like to complain. As we are an older couple we didn’t expect to climb 30+ stairs to our room which was on the other side of the road to the main building. There is no lift. The balcony was ok till we found the next rooms bathroom window at the side of our balcony and as it was open we could hear everything. The toilet seat lid kept falling down. The sink tap was loose. As for good point.It was clean. We didn’t see any staff as we went to reception 3 times but no one was there. Quite a walk to beach or to a bus stop if you are not able to walk far.

First visit here on a bargain 2 week break. In a lovely setting up a hill in the old town. The room, the gardens, everything was immaculate. No rush for sunbeds here, just a very relaxed atmosphere. The family who run this were lovely and friendly. On leaving we were poured a beer each on the house and Nico came over to give me a handshake when our bus turned up. Its little touches like this, every guest is treated like a friend. Going down the hill, there are plenty of Greek restaurants and a couple of bars. The standout restaurant for us was Avli. It’s best to book or arrive early and you can book online. The strip is across the road from the old town at the bottom of the hill if that’s your kind of thing although worth mentioning there is a large supermarket at the start of the strip although there is a supermarket close the the Kristalli and a few more down the hill. At the bottom of the hill, if you turn left there is a patisserie which sells amazing cakes, ice creams, bread, pastries etc. Would we go back, yes absolutely.

Booked as a late getaway but what a lovely surprise,an oasis in the old town of Malia. Family run hotel with everything you could want . Great location for finding authentic tavernas and bars. Secluded enough for quiet evenings but very friendly staff who mingle with their guests and make you feel like family. We hope to return this September to enjoy this hotel again.

Had a great holiday at Kristalli. Room was good (although the A/C would "break" every now and then but would soon be back on!) Food was nice for lunch. We ate out every evening but had breakfast included which was ok. It's not amazing but was good enough for us. No problem getting sun lounges no matter what time you get up. We were there school holidays. The place is immaculate, spotless. The restaurants in the old town are minutes away. Milo's literally round the corner is outstanding. As is Zorbas. If you like a beach holiday then it's probably not the place for you as the beach is a good 25 minute walk. We hired quad bikes so everything was in reach! Highly recommended.

Third visit to the Kristalli, and the first in 5 year, I have to say still one of my best holiday experiences, the family that run the place are second to none, friendly, fun and welcoming. Being honestly recognised after a 5 year hiatus was memorable to me and my wife. The rooms are great with everything you can possibly need, the location away from the strip with lots of tavernas to chose from, all great food. Hats off to you guys for making yet another memorable stay for us, we will be back why wouldn’t we ❤️❤️

A true gem of a hotel in the Old Town. The family are very friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. All staff members are also polite and courteous too. The room we had was spacious and immaculately clean and room service was excellent. An excellent pool area with beautiful gardens and plenty of sun beds . We will be visiting again for sure Thank you
