Loved the time there! Owner are so friendly and they make the best Dinner and Breakfast in town. Loved the three cats. It doesn’t feel like a Hotel and more like you visiting your family. My highlight in Yufu, Oita.

Wonderful owner. Eclectic guesthouse. Bike friendly.

Very comfortable rooms in a quiet area that is not, however, too far from the centre of Yufuin. I could walk to Yufuin station in about 20 minutes and the owners were also generous enough to lend me their (battery assist) bicycle for one day. The hospitality is excellent with a very friendly owner, and many cats! Excellent Japanese-style breakfast that filled me up for hours.

Notre séjour était parfait. Notre objectif était de se détendre et de découvrir la région en 1 semaine. L'emplacement du Inn était donc idéal : à 5 minutes du centre en voiture (10 minutes à vélo et 25 min à pied) on a pu profiter de la tranquillité du lieu avec une vue magnifique dans le jardin fleuri entouré de montages. Les 4 chats étaient un plus très mignons ! Une expérience japonaise authentique. Notre chambre du style japonais était très spacieuse et confortable avec une terrasse semi-privée sur les montages. Les hôtes sont d'une grande gentillesse, très à l'écoute et arrangeant. A faire absolument : savourer les plats que les deux hôtes cuisines. C'est incroyablement bon et d'une grande qualité ! Nous recommandons sans hésiter cette expérience culinaire, naturelle et chaleureuse.

Bedroom was clean, spacious and futon bed was very comfortable I was able to sleep very well!! Their home had an interesting antique concept to it with a terrace overlooking their garden. I think it would be great to chill there in cooler temperatures like autumn / spring and not summer haha! Owners were friendly and accommodating. I had dinner on the first night and it felt like a homey meal. They even lent me their auto bicycle so that I could travel around more quickly and easily!! :) I like that they have 3 cats and 4 chickens!! Higo was my favorite 🥰 I will miss him. There are also very nice cafes around the area that you wouldn’t find near Yufuin station. Be sure to check them out!!!! They even drove me to the Yufuin bus station on my last day. Thank you so much!! I wish I could speak better Japanese / Chinese so I could communicate with them more 🙏🏻

The shower area could use a little bit of work. But I was able to have hot and cold showers so bathing wasn’t an issue. I was able to change my towel on a daily basis too. So drying the towels wasn’t a problem either.

Wonderful and very generous people. I was stuck in Yufuin due to heavy rains. They took care of me so much. Thanks to both of you from the bottom of my heart. Would like to stay there every time I visit Yufuin. Take Care, Tachikawa san and Hoaki san. Missing Bobby chan and Na chan.

料理がおいしく、気さくに会話を楽しめた。 犬同伴で泊まれ、美容液不要な泉質を楽しめるお宿でこの価格は有り難い。 多少のことは目をつぶっていいと思う。

雑草のお手入れなどが？

The view from the terrace, the large clean and beautiful Japanese style room, the hosts ( adorable and amazing) and a few days to really get away from it all. It really isn’t far to the main town if you need to go - 2km - so pack your walking shoes. Great place to read books, not watch TV ( there isn’t one), and soak in local onsen - the ¥200 one nearby was delightful.

Bit of a mix up at check out - I wanted to pay by card but had to pay cash ( which wasn’t my preferred choice but fine).

The room is spacious and comfortable. Don't miss out on the meals and breakfast at the guesthouse.
