The hotel is just amazing! the view is stuning! Highly recommand to everyone to come and visit! i will come back for sure

The setting is beautiful with a long, sand beach and many pools. The long chairs were comfy and clean. Internet is only in the lobby area, a surprise, but not such a bad one. Our 1/2 board became boring very fast with a correct, but unchanging buffet. There was no fresh fish and little meat. Vegetables were excellent. The larger dining room was unpleasantly lit like an operating room. There is a mystery about why the taxi to HER, called by the hotel, cost more than the ride from HER. Best to reserve one the day before on the street. This is tourist land, a quality one.

We stayed here for 3 nights. We were 3 friends looking for quite, relaxing vacation filled with pool time, beach and sun. This hotel proved to be the perfect choice for us. It is not built as a hotel but rather as a perfect little village, with 3 stories cottages. We upgraded to the see view room and it was amazing! We heard nothing but the waves which were just 1 minute walk from our room, and the pool was even less than that. There were 3 different pools so we could choose the one with less children and more space. The staff was very nice, especially the cleaning lady! The location is wonderful, when you leave the hotel area you walk onto a street full of bars and stores. It is not the party area of Crete, which is a plus. The buffet is very reach and there is also an option to order courses for those who don't like the buffet. The negative things in the hotel are that there is no coffee and tea in the room (though we received a complimentary bottle of wine and fruit), the half board which included dinner, didn't include soft drinks, and the worst part for us - even though the hotel claimed they have "An Adults Pool Only" all the pools had children swimming in them, which really disappointed us, but that was really the only thing. Over all, this is a great hotel for a beach & pool vacation. We had a wonderful stay there, will be happy to come back, and will surely recommend our friends!

Stayed for a week early August, great hotel, food excellent everything you need, staff really friendly, pool areas spotless, private beach great, rooms very tasteful and comfortable, all round spotlessly clean.

We got a room with two single beds that kept splitting during the night and we almost fell. The room smelled like an ashtray (apperantly you can smoke in all the rooms). There were kids everywhere, the pool was always fool without any free space around it.

Great views, nice pools and landscape. Friendly staff and very accommodating. No Wifi in the rooms. No food/drink service at the pool. All self-service.

Been to the Alexander beach numerous times. Have bars and shops just outside the hotel and the beach the other side with free sun beds. Food very good even if you are a bit fussy. Champagne and salmon for breakfast on Sundays. All areas are very clean. Bars are a bit expensive in the hotel also 3euros for a bottle of water with the evening meal. If your grade of room is below a suite you will not get any tea or coffee facilities, before when we stayed you got them regardless of what grade room you was in. Asked at reception was told we could have a kettle for 5 euros a day! We were there for thirteen nights not paying 65 euros, we went out and bought a kettle for 20 euros, already had the tea and coffee with us. Don't really think it's a 5 star hotel more 4.

We enjoyed our stay, but were unhappy when our 'sea view' room for which we had paid extra, had a view of the beach restaurant. The inside of the room was clearly visible from the bar balcony, so we had to exist behind closed curtains, which was very disappointing. We expected better wi-fi from a 'five star' hotel, especially as 'free wi-fi' was one of their advertised benefits. The food was good at both breakfast and supper. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room would have been good.

Great stay, great weather and lovely breakfasts. Spacious rooms and nice showers in bath. Wifi not great all over the hotel.
