Alexander Beach Hotel & Village Resort

Property is absolutely lovely! Very clean and well maintained. We upgraded our room so that we had a view of the beach and pool and were close by. Room was very big and clean. Staff were wonderful, helpful and friendly. We would absolutely stay here again. Easy walk into Stalia and close to Malia (you could also walk this).

The staff were AMAZING. Very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent: more options and better food than we ever expected. The grounds were beautiful, and pools were fabulous. Loved the beach and that we could walk to shops and restaurants. A in every way.

The property is beautiful - and large!! The staff is extremely friendly. It’s a very well-maintained property. You can play pool, ping-pong and tennis and the spa is wonderful too. The breakfast buffet is expansive as well. We ate once at the restaurant and it wasn’t bad, not the best we’ve had, but good.

There is a lot to like about this hotel. First, the people are super friendly and service minded. The premises are gorgeous with well kept gardens, great pools and beautiful views to the sea. That being said, the hotel is more a 4+ star hotel rather than a true 5 star hotel. We were lucky to be upgraded from a classic sea view room to a superior sea view room. Sea views are extraordinary gorgeous and totally worth the extra money. The negative parts are the terrible beds, they are way too soft and give no support to the back. One of the worst beds I ever slept in. Second, the breakfast is extensive but not practical with the COVID measures, where one has to point out in a queue what one wants at every station. It’s not 5 star worthy. There are other COVID-prove measures possible. Another thing is that the hotel is germanized. Meaning most employees address you in German which got on my nerves.

Il est anormal pour un hôtel de ce niveau de ne pas avoir d'eau à disposition dans les chambres et devoir payer 6.9€ pour une bouteille de 75 cl !!!! un hôtel 5 étoiles doit mettre de l'eau à disposition pour ses clients!!!

Отель расположен относительно недалеко от аэропорта Ираклион ~ 25 минут на такси (~45 EUR) Брал самый обычный номер Classic Room, Garden View, по факту вид на стену соседнего здания, частичный вид на море и бассейн с балкона. Заселение быстрое сразу по прибытию в течении 5 минут, в номере ждал комплимент от отеля в виде бутылки вина и тарелки фруктов. Просил одну двуспальную кровать, получил две сдвинутых односпальных, но это уже мелочи. Хотя отзывы по интернету негативные, но с интернетом проблем в отеле нету, хотя я жил рядом с основным зданием рядом с тенисным кортом. Интернет хорошо работает в номер, на пляже, на территории отеля и даже в магазине через дорогу от отеля. По питанию брал полупансион, еда на мой вкус разнообразная, за завтраком и ужином всегда найдете что выбрать, единственное, что не хватало, это обычного классического зернового кофе на завтрак, кофе приносят в чем-то вроде термоса, но оно скажем так далеко от идеала. По поводу пляжа, вся береговая линия песчаная, а вот песчаный вход только ближе к центру, рядом с прокатом водных скутеров. Лежаков на пляже предостаточно, пляж каждый день с утра убирают. Огромный минут в том, что отдыхающие курят на пляже, а часть ленивых курильщиков закапывает окурки в песок. Рядом с отелем целая куча прокатных компаний и различного рода кафешек. Самой вкусной оказалось Sergiani Garden. Очень удобный магазин практически напротив отеля, продают свежевыжатые соки. По вечерам тематические вечера, но в номере их не слышно.

Just loved it! I wasn’t sure when I booked. I thought it might be too big for this boutique hotel lover, but The Alexander did not disappoint. Warm and friendly staff, lovely ocean/beach and gardens in picturesque groupings of small clusters of rooms which are all easily accessible to the central hotel and dining areas. Half board featured a staggering array of buffet options at breakfast and dinner including fresh fruits and vegetables and Greek dishes as well as other supporting ethnic dishes. While there might have been an item or two that I didn’t care for, I loved there was so much that was new to me that I was able to try! And I really admire any buffet than can deliver so successfully on the taste and texture of freshly cooked fish! In all a very lovely experience that I hope singles, couples and families will enjoy as I did.
