The location was convenient, making it easy to access nearby attractions. The room and facilities were clean, tidy, and well maintained.

While the location and cleanliness were great, there were a few aspects that could be improved. The bed and pillows were not very comfortable, which affected the quality of sleep. The air conditioning did not seem to work properly, making the room less comfortable than expected. Additionally, the TV experience was disappointing, as I was unable to cast content from my phone to the television despite trying multiple times. Improving these areas would make the overall guest experience much better.

Always a pleasure to stay at Crown Metropol. Cannot actually fault this place. If anything, this was our best stay yet considering the EOFY sale meant we upgraded our room to this IS INCREDIBLE loft which was the most amazing room I have ever stayed in.

I do wish room service was 24/7.

I like the facilities, they looked cool. I used the gym, but it was lacking a lot. Check out was easy, but long queue to check in. The bed was comfy, I liked the fact that there was plenty of towels in the room, along with a robe and slippers.

The Wi-Fi connection was atrocious and even using my own network the reception was really low. Also, there's a lack of amenities in the room with things like no plates, no forks, no tablespoons. I had my own meal because of dietary reasons and there wasn't a microwave in the room for guests to use, and no communal microwave available for guests to use either. This either forced you to the in-room dining, or out to the street to find something appropriate. Once I eventually did find something I could eat, I took it back to the room to eventually find no plates, no forks, no butterknives. When I asked Guest Services for just a plate and a fork, I was told there would be an $8.00 charge by the kitchen to deliver. I understand these are the nuisances of staying at a hotel, but you'd think some type of sense would prevail. I only stayed there one-night mid-week for work purposes, but to be charged the amount of money I was charged versus the expected delivery, it doesn't stack up. Much cheaper options available through private stays. It's also worth nothing, you're always better off booking direct with Crown Metropol because when you book through 3rd party services like Booking.com, the staff at Crown will always direct you to the 3rd party (Booking.com), and the 3rd party (Booking.com) will always direct you back to crown once they reply 1 business day later.
