I liked the location. I liked the staff friendliness.

On Friday Morning when I awaken the water in my room was not working. I later learned that there has been a water main break in the city that affected the hotel.

My ranking of 4-stars is as high a ranking as I ever give for a bargain price chain hotel. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and the bathroom was nicely appointed. Evening tea and coffee service was not good. The hot water provided to make tea was barely warm, and the tea selection included high caffeine Earl Gray (not good at 9 PM) and a terrible tasting lemon infused tea. My comment is a nit, intended to spark better tea service. The next time we come to Monticello we will stay at the Hampton Inn.
