Foxhunt at Sapphire Valley

Was such a beautiful condo with beautiful decks! Definitely a great price and close to everything! We would stay again!

Loved the townhouse and the amount of room we had. Loved how peaceful it was.

We were given a townhouse that didn't overlook the lake as pictured, and it was because we weren't staying an entire week. The view of the lake is breathtaking. Also we wished that there was more to do on the grounds and you didn't have to drive to get to any of the amenities that are offered. A better beach setting as well as a bike trail would have been great.

This two-bedroom, two bath townhome in a Wyndham resort complex was a five- or ten-minute drive from Cashiers downtown area restaurants. Spacious and nicely furnished, its two balconies overlooked the landscaped pond below. (It was just the two of us, so we just used one room.) We accessed the clubhouse, about a mile away, and used its outdoor pool and indoor hot tub, but not the gym. We didn’t realize there was a nice little beach just down the hill from us (nor were we informed) and Fairfield lake, a small lake with kayaks and canoes to rent down the road. Be aware, that if you check in on a Sunday, you must check in at the Foxhunt security office; since we arrived at 3:45 p.m., the agent would not begin check in until exactly 4 p.m.—no exceptions, she said.

The location was excellent

The carpet and flooring needs an upgrade. Very old and worn out.

Luckily I called to get the weekend check-in process. You have to go to a Private Security Company office on Sunday check-ins. The lower bedroom is dark and damp and always felt "sticky" That was the biggest drawback. Otherwise the upper levels were nice and the decks were a plus.

The property was clean, safe and great for our family. Please note that the pool and other amenities are over a mile away in a different neighborhood.
