Foxhunt at Sapphire Valley

We ate at both Zookeeper's Cafe and Buck's, and both were excellent. Staff supervising ropes course at rec center were supportive and very careful. Excellent service at slopeside tavern on Friday evening, and good food. Outstanding service provided by Gary ,(maintenance supervisor) when our oven died at the beginning of our week.

Communication about tubing was terrible, inconsistent, contradictory and delivered in a disdainful and rude way. Procedures and hours were different in written communication from what we were told at the rec center, and what we were told different by the day we were told. We chose Foxhunt because you could make snow for tubing. Monday we asked how best to secure tickets for Tuesday and were told we had to come at least 30 minutes before the session we wanted to attend. On Tuesday we came at 11:00 for the 12:00 session or any one of the next ones, only to be told that all tickets for all sessions had sold out by 10:30. As upsetting as this was, since this was our last day, we were far more concerned and distressed by the extremely rude, disdainful and inappropriate attitude the woman at the rec center desk displayed. She never suggested an alternative, a waitlist, or that she was at all regretful that we had missed our one opportunity for tubing. She left a very bad impression, which only the extremely professional and courteous service of Gary the maintenance supervisor could correct. He should be commended, but she needs to go back to training in customer service.

The utensils lol not anything close to decent quality cooking utensils but thats all I can complain about lol

Very clean and well lit t at night. Lots of stairs but to be expected in the mountains. Townhouse was very spacious and comfortable. Great king size bed. Two balconies with rocking chairs and table with 4 chairs. Great bathroom and huge jacuzzi tub. Very quiet and never heard any neighbors.

Showers had low water pressure, so I didn’t try the jacuzzi tub since it would probably take a long time to fill. Master bathroom only had one sink, but spacious countertop. There is a vanity in the bedroom but it was an under the mounted television which was a little awkward.

Resort advertised 2 golf courses, an 18 hole PGA course. There was ONLY 1 which was a 9 hole course, there was no 18 hole course!
