Nice position on the River Neckar. An old water mill dating back to the 15 hundreds, but it is not the old fashioned wheel on the side of a building. Ideally positioned for Stuttgart & the northern Black Forest. You will need a car to stay here, as nearest train station 10k away. This can then be used to visit the 'Ritter-sport' chocolate factory in Waldenbuch, about 20 mins away. The food is very good, well presented & priced. The hotel accommodation does need updating. I know it is an old building but, 59 stairs from the ground floor entrance to the bedroom on first floor !!! The staff are friendly & helpful. Would I stay there again - yes.

Nice gasthaus. Clean room and ok beds. Minus for not having AC, but our room had 3 Windows that us a little breeze during the night. Breakfast was included In the price. It was ok, nothing special. But a little fruit would have been nice. All together a ok hotel to stay for the night not far from metzingen outlet.

Gedateerde ruime kamer met kapotte badkamertegels. Verder zeer matige matrassen, de module om tv te kijken ontbrak. Wifi was wel prima. Bedden en badkamer waren wel schoon. Ontbijt was eenvoudig maar voldoende. Jammer dat er nog een slipje van de vorige gast was blijven hangen.

Mit Auto kein Problem, für öffentliche Verkehrsmittel etwas umständlich.

Just read the reviews and really dont understand some of the comments. OK there isnt a lift but in such an old building this should be expected and yes Mittelstadt doesnt have a lot to offer although again this is normal if you stay in a village based location.. The check in was friendly, quick, efficient and available in both English and German, The room was extremely clean and for what it is meant for, i.e. sleeping, more than sufficient. The bathroom again was more than adequate and again every clean. The wi-fi, free, was extremely quick and after a few minutes to log in was more than adequate to watch streamed videos on a tablet without any buffering issues. The food was an absolute highlight ! The restaurant serves amazing food, cooked fresh and bursting with flavor (recommend the chicken breasts with rice for Euro 12.50 washed down with a 0.5 ltr Pils for Euro 3,00). The breakfast, which is included in the room price, would not look out of place in a hotel charging 3 times the price - scrambled egg and sausages as a warm option and then a wider, fresh selection of everything else you require. Overall an excellent hotel in its price bracket and would recommend.

I had the misfortune to stay at this hotel for 2 really bad nights. I took a single bed room with a sofa bed, and I must say, if you're tall, and even slightly overweight, you'll have problems. The shower: too small for the average person, to fit in comfortably There are too many stairs: reception is one the second levels, and no help carrying my heavy luggage. The owner apologized when he discovered that I had a disability, and offered a discount on the room. The discounted price was only 10% off the first nights rate. He helped me navigate the difference levels, and made getting to my room, which was crazy. Paying for meals required a c.card, or euros. Breakfast, nothing to shoute about either. I called a taxi on my last morning, and told the driver they I needed to catch a train before noon. He took the long way, which added another 45 minutes to the trip. I knew of a more direct route, and he pretended not to listen. Overall rating, and some advice: don't expect good service, if you don't speak Romanian, or German, you'll be out of luck. There is nothing to see or do in the town proper, especially on weekends. So my advice to you is this: don't stay if you really don't need to, and you're in fairly good health. Thanks.

ロイトリンゲンの駅からバスで30分と少し遠いが、部屋も広く使い心地はまずまず。 教会が近いのか鐘の音がしょっちゅう響くのが玉にキズかも。(朝は鐘の音で起こされます笑) 朝食はブュッフェスタイルだが、お母さんが毎日目玉焼きを作ってくれます。これが凄く美味して感動しました。

Very local atmosphere hotel. Food was regional and excellent at reasonable prices.

As a partly disabled person I had no help from the manager by transporting my luggage. The manager asked for cash in advance, proposed stay for two nights and as expected their card machine for EC-cards did not work, said it was out for repair. (it's easier to shunt taxes for the proprietor with cash). The room is wide and clean
