Admiralty Lodge Motel

Lovely view, friendly staff. We borrowed spades for Hot Water Beach. The property needs an update as it is looking a little rundown.

what a lovely location, great room, good kitchen facilities, the bed was super super comfy and we rate a good bed, nothing worse than a poor quality bed, lots of room for family and great lounge space, recommend to all. Only piss of factor was the internet did not work the entire time we were there, so chewed thru personal data, and the toilet paper was terrible, come on no one needs to have terrible 1 ply toilet paper anymore, the toilet paper at the toilet stop in bombay was twice as nice, just by decent toilet papter please

Carpets were dirty, room and bath are nice size and great view facing the bay. WiFi was horrible!

Nice, close to beach, best to have a car to go to shops.

Check in was both professional and friendly with a very warm welcome. The apartment was large, spotlessly clean and well appointed. However I did have a couple of gripes, which has kept my score lower - Firstly: the vertical louvre blinds in the living area were not complete with slats missing and did not work well. Without a curtain, anyone from the main road could see into our ground floor apartment should they so wish. Secondly: the shower head would not stay in place under full pressure as it was worn out and tired. These were just a couple of minor silly maintenance issues really, that if I was staying longer than just the one night I would have mentioned at reception. That said, the motel was very good and I would certainly recommend it for a stay in Whitianga.

Great place. Quite and comfortable. Shower was awesome and the bed huge.

Great location, but facilities was way too old. It was really noisy when flushing the toilet or using water in the bathroom. They really need to upgrade the pipes. Just feels like living in an old 1980s apartment

Stayed here for two nights and liked the full featured rooms and view. Used the provided bikes to ride into town and back which was good.
