Auberge De Bourgogne

Det var ok men i lidt dårlig stand. Maden var ret kedelig både morgen og aften.

The owner (a biker himself) let me use a garage to park my motorbike. He instantly provided a cold beer on arrival on a hot day. My room was at the back of the property, which meant it was quiet even with the window open.

The food at dinner was poor - prawn starter smothered in cheap mayonnaise, main course was simply microwaved and the sauce really overpowered the taste of the fish. But they didn't manage to spoil the creme-brulee. Worst was the attitude of the waitress! It was good that the hotel's restaurant was closed on my 2nd night although that also meant I couldn't get a beer.

Hotel correct mais en self service, personnel inexistant.

Practical, all you need is there. Breakfast is good too

It would benefit from some refreshing or renovating

Bathroom was not clean Breakfast expansive and too basic

The property was fine except for the Bulgarian Fruit Pickers who were also resident. They were noisy and seemed to impact the availability of the usual services that would normally have been provided. I accept that this happens but would have appreciated some kind of warning, prior to our stay, as I do not believe we experienced the hotel at its best!
