The warm and friendly welcome, beautiful and large room, location.

The shower cabin where you knock yourself quasi at each move, weak wifi (luckily have my own 5g) and noisy bed when moving.

My stay at MD Modern Jardines Hotel was a mixed experience. On the positive side, the room was spacious, clean, and generally comfortable, which made the stay pleasant. However, while the room could accommodate 4 people, the bathroom felt quite small for that size, which was a little inconvenient. The hotel itself was in a decent location — within walking distance to Valencia’s old town and several breakfast spots, so it was convenient enough, though nothing particularly special or memorable about the area. That said, there were some major downsides. The soundproofing was almost non-existent, so noise travelled very easily, which affected comfort and sleep quality. The WiFi was also extremely disappointing as it barely worked during my entire stay. Even mobile signal/5G seemed weak or somewhat blocked, especially in the smaller room, which was frustrating. The staff experience was mixed as well. On our last day, we met Anna, who was incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely willing to help with anything — she left a very positive impression. Unfortunately, our first interaction was much less pleasant. We approached a staff member (who came out from the staff room) for help with extra hangers and the poor WiFi connection. As he did not speak English, we used Google Translate, but his response was simply “No” to both requests, without attempting to find another colleague who could assist or trying to help despite the language barrier. That was disappointing from a hospitality perspective. Overall, the hotel has its positives, particularly the clean and spacious rooms, but poor soundproofing, unreliable WiFi, a small bathroom for a 4-person room, and inconsistent customer service made this a fairly mixed stay. It may be suitable for a short stay if location and room size matter most, but there is definitely room for improvement.
