Hotel de Normandie

Idéalement situé proche du centre ville. Accès et stationnement facile. Personnel présent et agréable.

Vétusté de l'hôtel, malgré des travaux de réfection. Eclairage insuffisant (salle, accès, parking). Couloirs et escaliers vétustes. Choix au petit déjeuner limité et produits "basiques".

Love this hotel, its had a bit of a makeover and every room is fresh and comfortable. It's so handy for us to break up the long journey from Wales to Limoges.

No proper bar or in house restaurant, but Evreux has a fantastic choice of restaurants so we get to have a wander about trying different restaurants on every visit...about 5 times a year.

Room was lovely, spotlessly clean, very comfy bed and good sized bathroom

Check in was confusing. Got to property at 12 to drop our bags, but there was a sign saying closed 12-4.30 (check in should have been 2pm). There was a phone number but no answer, and no reply to answerphone message or text message to property. We had to take our luggage with us for the day u til 4pm so didn't get to see the town properly.

Small narrow staircases to carry bags to upper floors. Dangerous and unsuitable for older people.

L’accès avec un escalier en colimaçon étroit avec des valises est compliqué. Le papier toilette n’est vraiment pas adapté à un hôtel de ce style

Very nice, spacious 1st-floor room in a modern annexe with a large and comfortable bed. The spiral stairs were OK, but a bit awkward with luggage, and unnecessary we thought, in a modern block with plenty of room to design normal stairs in. The main building in lovely but the interior is a little drab, but breakfast was good (an egg boiler is always a joy!) and inexpensive.
