Mapleton is beautiful

Cabin was next to the public toilet block and we could smell toilet the whole time. There was no water on our last day so we could now wash our dishes or brush our teeth.

Location was very good.

It was cold at night, there was no heating and no extra blankets.

Absolutely dirty couldn't stay there

I liked nothing except the bed was ok but it made no difference as I didn't get any sleep for other reasons. I only stayed 1 night of the 3 booked as I couldn't sleep at all in the room.

There was black mould in the blinds. I reported it to the staff who came with a bottle of mould kill and wiped one down. But after there was still mould deeply ingrained and on the wall around. The curtains were very dirty. The soft chair was very old. It looked like someone had picked it up from a garage sale. I couldn't bring myself to sit in it. The bathroom floor was rotting through and felt like it could give way. The shower was very old plastic shower with shower curtain not door. The shower was very small and cold wet shower curtain kept sticking to me. The handbasin was old and tiny. Not nice at all. Worst of all was that this unit was in an old cabin that had been split into two units. If the guy in the jet cabin moved or for that matter I moved, the whole cabin would sway. This kept me awake all night. I was like the cabin was about to collapse or was not actually attached to foundations. To top it off, the wind kept knocking something against the outside of the cabin. I hated staying there so much I peft after 1 night. I asked for a refund from font desk for the two other nights. Front desk gave me an email address to email the owner of the cabin ask fro a refund. I've since lost the email address.

Good price for overnight stay. Clean. Quiet. Lovely staff. Easy check in.

Dated cabin- bathroom floor needs repair due to water rot. Bed was a bit hard. No entrance sign.

The accommodation was the perfect size and a great set up

The cleanliness of the bathroom and mini kitchenette. Rotten stagnant water smell every time I used the bathroom, and the shower needs a clean. Kitchen hood and fan very greasy and dusty
