Die Lage war großartig, gleich um die Ecke gab es ein Café, wo man herrlich frühstücken konnte. Die Matratzen waren sehr gut, der Balkon ebenfalls.

Das Schlafzimmer hatte nur ein Fenster zum Hausflur. Der Hausflur war allerdings wunderschön.

Our stay was affected by the lack of hot water. We tried to resolve this issue directly with the venue and they told us we won’t have hot water until Monday (when we were leaving). We did not get an apology and we did not get any offer for a refund. In fact, the owner told us that we broke the boiler, but we did not touch anything, and I reported to him immediately when I realised there was no hot water. The whole place was cold and there was no heating. We ended up boiling water on the stove in a pot and washing up like medieval times (i guess on theme with the town - 360 experience). There are also no toiletries or hair dryer in this property (except for hand soap), although it is advertised that there are. Overall, we had a stressful experience and did not feel comfortable, especially with the owner not being very hospitable. Upon check in, the man who checked us in did not introduce himself, did not speak English (fair enough, this is not an issue, as we can understand Italian and don’t expect for everyone to speak English outside of English speaking countries), and only showed us the keys to the house, that there is water in the fridge, and asked us for €20 cash for city tax (which was actually €18). We don’t like leaving bad reviews, but this was out objective experience and felt like our holiday was more of an administrative and frustrating experience Edit 27/10/2025 - as I have jut now read the property's response to my feedback, I feel the need to mention that booking.com has been in touch with them at least 4 times (unlike them saying that they have not). Just to say, if I had a property on rental, I would make sure I do a series of checks of appliances and conditions before checking-in a client. We only demand fairness in this process, but it seems like the property is desperate to appear in a good light by rather throwing blame on its customers instead of saying sorry and offering a partial refund.
