Historic Hotel du Pillon

Mon séjour c’est très bien déroulé . L accueil sous la tempête de neige a été parfait ! Francis a été un sur hôte et son service niquel . Il a une charmante équipe merci Arthur et sa compagne . Je reviendrai sûrement l’an prochain car même si l’hôtel n’est qu à même pas 10 min du centre quand on se réveil avé le soleil ça vaut tout l or du monde alors que dans le centre c est sombre . À bientôt

We arrived by train into Diablerets and Francis sent someone to pick us up by car. We stayed 5 nights and Francis and his small excellent team work incredibly hard to provide a fantastic experience for their guests. They are attentive, friendly and helpful. Francis is there to provide advice, suggested ways to save money on excursions and is happy to provide lifts to the village/train station. Every room of this historic hotel is covered in wonderful art and paintings a real old world charm. We ate a couple of times for dinner which was very tasty and breakfast a classic continental style included fabulous breads, eggs, cereals, cheese, coffee/tea. The hotel is perched on a small hill just outside the main village, we walked up and down most evenings (with lots of snow) in about 15 mins, and there are plenty of places for a drink or to eat. It is a bit of a pull walking back up the hill but only slight and with the fresh mountain air we felt better for it. I would strongly recommend a stay here, there is something quite special about the Hotel du Pillon a classic Swiss guesthouse full of history and charm.

Wonderful authentic hotel, good food, and very friendly host.

The hotel is a 15 min walk outside of the village, which I actually liked, because it was quiet and peaceful.

Authenticité des lieux et du patron, nous avons étaient très bien reçu, le dîner était parfait et surtout avec du choix, le petit ou plutôt un grand plus, un dîner avec un feu cheminée

Les matelas un peu trop mous

Ambiance chaleureuse et convivial. Séjour au top.
