Hotel Cusco La Paccha, Affiliated by Meliá

Beautiful hotel and staff who were attentive and accommodating. One staff member, Carlos Velasquez, was most impressive. He communicated with my 2 granddaughters who are shy and reserved. His friendly behavior and attitude caused them to relax and enjoy their stay.

If you value good quality sleep or struggle to get good quality sleep, this is not the place for you. The room's amenities were fine but we found the mattress in two different rooms entirely too firm - it was like sleeping on a table. That aside, the staff there is great. The hotel is located in a good location. The breakfast buffet had plenty of variety.

Lovely hotel , 15 min walk from main square, Most bedrooms are set around the dining lift areas with windows looking into this ! Meaning you can’t really leave window open for fresh air and people walk past your window ! Looks very impressive. But not practical! Breakfast was lovely and good range to choose from. Shower and bathroom separate then. Sink in the room again not very practical if using toilet in middle of night. Then to put light on in main room just to wash your hands. Then waking your partner !

We had an amazing stay at Xima Hotels, and Carlos Velasquez truly made it unforgettable! 🌟 From the moment we walked in, Carlos welcomed us with coca tea and a warm smile. He helped us book last-minute massage appointments, handled bell service, room service, check-in, check-out, and even took care of our luggage storage—nothing was ever too much trouble. Our kids especially loved how caring and attentive Carlos was. He made them feel right at home and looked after every little detail for our family. Carlos went above and beyond at every step. Highly recommend Xima Hotels, especially if you get to meet Carlos! Thanks for making our trip so special!

This hotel is wonderful. Beds comfortable, showers super hot, restaurant good. But what absolutely puts it up there are the staff. I was unwell when I arrived and was so well cared for. Providing oxygen until I was well again. Helping contact people by phone and even letting us into the restaurant 5 mins after they closed for some delicious quinoa soup. It is centrally situated and as such you can obviously here some noise but they found me a quiet room because I was unwell. Add to that the superb spa and you will have a wonderful stay. People of note, Sheila (I think), who is always smiling, Abelardo in the restaurant, Carlos V. who has been very caring. Unfortunately, I didn't get everyone's names but we have been really well cared for by everyone.

The area around the hotel was safe and convenient. Staff are extremely helpful. We will stay again.

It was close to the main square and was central. They did make a to go bag for breakfast as we were heading to Machu picchu.

Beds were very uncomfortable. Our room was facing the main road, which was very noisy throughout the night with cars beeping their horns, and it was hard to sleep as a result. Now, maybe a room facing a different way might not be as bad.There was an issue with the card machine on check-in, which was annoying as there was money in several of the cards used. My husband ended up going to an ATM to withdraw money (with extra fees added as a result), and we ended up having to pay in cash. They weren't very accommodating.
