Uniquely placed for a view towards glacier and mountains. Good public areas and solid breakfast. Staff were great and helpful for the most part.

Mould on the bedroom window ledge - first of all shouldn’t be there, secondly should have been fixed when I raised the issue with the hotel. Unacceptable to have mould in a hotel room, let alone one that is charging $500+ per night. Massive dinner inconsistencies - same dish two different nights. Night one overcooked steak and poorly presented vs second night perfectly cooked and looked fab. Also night one, asked for medium rare. Ribeye was served on a sizzling hot plate and was near enough well done by the time it was being eaten. What a completely stupid idea to try and bring ‘theatre’ to a steak. Cook it, rest it, serve it. That’s all that is needed. The hotel runs the glacier boar trip so that means just before boarding a heap of tourists flood into reception and the bar area. No guest only areas which is a shame whereas the price for the hotel should allow some level of exclusivity and special experience. As a side note It’s a long way from Puerto Natales so be prepared for that and the bumpy park roads.
