Casa Ferrari B & B

This is a nice, comfortable B&B within walking distance of the centre of Sofia. Ludmil, the owner, picked us up from the airport and gave us an interesting tour/history lesson of Sofia en route. Breakfast is traditional Bulgarian. I would definitely stay here next time I am in Sofia.

One night stay at this place. I have arranged for Ludmil (The owner) to pick me up from the airport and he was there waiting on time. After that he told me a fantastic story about Sofia while we are on our way to the B&B. The B&B is walking distance to many places in Sofia.- And in the morning Ludmil baked me traditional pasty which was very nice. Overall I recommend this place if you want to stay in a cozy place with very nice owner in an amazing city!

We had such a lovely stay in Sofia. The host was so obliging and helpful. He suggested places to visit , restaurants to eat in. He wanted us to feel completely at home, and we did. He organised both taxis to and from the airport. It is a small b and b, with only three bedrooms. We got to know the other guests at 8.30 am breakfast. Pastries from the local bakery were provided. The neighbourhood of the b and b is interesting. 10 minutes walk from the main street of the Old town. We were so happy wandering in the little side streets full of corner shops and fascinating cafes and bars. I loved the Alexander Nevsky church and the National Gallery of Art. Dining out is inexpensive and offers so much choice. We ate lots of Bulgarian delicacies.

We had a large, clean, quiet room. The proprietor, Ludmil, is very friendly and knowledge. He made us feel right at home. Breakfasts were great - different Bulgarian specialties every day. The location is walking distance to many attractions.

Casa Ferrari is a 3 bedroom flat, within 5-10 walking distance of the historic town centre. Lovely welcome, and guided tour of the city as Ludmil was driving us from the airport, who provides excellent recommendations of what to visit and is passionate about sharing Sofia's history...

Ludmil thinks like a guest. His recommendations were perfect. His history lesson at breakfast absolutely memorizing. Breakfast was great, room was comfy. :) Thank you so much, Ludmil.

I really loved this place. And the host Ludmil was a true Gentleman nothing was too much trouble for him. The place was spotlessy clean lovely beds and linen and kitchen and sitting areas. All Ludmil was concerned about was that his quests were happy. He prepaired us a different breakfast every day of traditional Bulgarian food which was very nice. You could get to most places by walking. Nice Restruants take aways and supermarkets near by. Take Ludmils advice only use OK Taxis they are good and will never rip you off.

It was a highlight of my trip; the host is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I learnt a lot about Bulgaria and Sofia and was completely at home in this lovely B&B. The art is great too - loved it!

Ludmil met us at the airport and gave us a running history tour of Bulgaria as we drove through Sofia to his Casa Ferrari B&B. He and his wife were most welcoming and helpful. Since we are not familiar with the Cyrillic Alphabet we relied on them to help us organize our side trips. Staying at Casa Ferrari was a wonderful start to our visit to Bulgaria.

Ludmil met us personally when we arrived at the B&B. He made sure we know everything needed about the room, helped us know the city and gave us the perfect recommendations for restaurants and pubs. Ludmil is a very friendly, knowledgeable and curious person; so more than anything, we enjoyed our conversations during breakfast. The hotel is very clean and well maintained, cosy and very nicely decorated, at a good location, with the most nice and flexible host. We highly recommend this hotel, look forward to staying here again on our next visit to Sofia, and look forward even more to meet Ludmil again.
