Location, spacious room with a lot of daylight (start of June), fully equipped kitchen, the facility equipment in general

The facility should have more restrooms and showers for the potential number of guests when the house is full. WC right next to the reception and the shared areas where there are usually other guests. Noise from the street (not included in the grading as this can be expected considering the location). Too soft bed

no shoe policy, very nice location in the old town. they had a kitchen area and some board games

shower was leaking so the bathroom got wet. toilet flush mechanism was stuck (still worked).

"Sweet & simple in the old town."

Comfortable accommodation in the centre of the old town. Very comfortable bed & pillows. Well equipped, with free tea & coffee! I wouldn't call it a backpackers hostel - it's more a budget accommodation with shared bathrooms & kitchen. Regardless, it was lovely & peaceful & had everything I needed.

Curtains didn't quite cover the window - no problem for me with an eyemask, but it may affect people who don't have one. The shower cubicle that services rooms 8, 9 & 10 has drainage problems & will need to be looked at.

Fantastic location in the middle of the city. Everything was very clean and well maintained and bed was super comfortable. It’s a relaxing and quiet atmosphere and feels very secure. Great little common area with free tea and coffee also provided. Staff were friendly and helpful

"Best location in Old Town"

I had a great stay at Viru Hostel. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the Old Town, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The hostel was clean, well organized, quiet, and very comfortable for sleeping. The staff was friendly, and communication was always clear and helpful. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Tallinn.
