stayed for 3 nights... really relaxing stay. staff very helpful. would recommend and stay here again. the only disappointment was no tea / coffee facilities, we did expect this as it is usually standard. 25 miles from |Reims and not walking distance to shops etc. but loved this place. there was chess and draughts and a pool/snooker table. we didn't have breakfast
Not a great location. The restaurant was a very poor experience. Bad menu and food preparation, basically inedible. I don't understand the strong rating for this hotel or its restaurant. We had friends stay in much much better digs and pay less than us. I don't know who is writing the reviews but seriously this place is fawlty towers.

A comprehensive buffet breakfast that even included bacon and eggs! The restaurant was excellent with good selections of local produce on the menu. Reasonably priced good champagne was a bonus.
Had a great stay at this hotel. I wished we stayed longer. Great size for 3 adults as we had a 2 floor family room which suited our needs completely. Great food. Close to the champagne vineyards and extremely pleasant stay.
Stop over 3 mins off A26 on eay back to Calais from southern Alps
It was a single night stopover en route back to England. As we stayed on a Sunday night the hotel facilities were closed so we can't review them but the information we were sent to enable us to access the hotel and our room was excellent.Tea and coffee making facilities would have been VERY welcome as all was closed. They had left information about local restaurants open on Sunday evenings, one of which we used, and which was a rather soulless experience. Next morning the hotel came to life. The breakfast was fine and the reception staff pleasant and efficient.
We always enjoy staying here on out way through France. The room is excellent, and so is the food and hospitality.
We loved everything about this hotel. The family rooms were something that should be replicated around the world. As you come in the door to the room there is a small staircase leading up to a twin loft room. It is amazing how they can make a standard hotel room into a two bedroom affair. The children loved having their own space. We found this to be a much better option than adjoining rooms as it is not only cheaper but the children are effectively in the same room but everyone gets their space. The food in the restaurant was delicious as was the Champagne. We would definitely stay again if passing that way. The atmosphere was lovely and the place felt like great value for the money.
This is perfect for a family, large double bed and two singles in upstairs room. Only negatives are that there is no fridge or coffee facilities in the room. I would add that the food in the restaurant was, we felt, over priced and not anything to write home about.
