The rooms are large, well furnished and absolutely spotlessly clean, with patio doors opening out onto a shaded terrace. I like the single level accommodation as there are no steps to negotiate, All staff are helpful, polite and very professional. The grounds are beautiful and the location is handy for the main roads to go further afield. The three pools were closed as it was April, but they are very large and I wish I could have used them. The restaurants are light and airy with beautiful chandeliers and the food is very good. We were there for Easter Sunday and had lunch there. The food was varied and tasty and we were kept supplied with drinks without having to ask.

Rooms are a little dated and the furniture is a little tired looking. Breakfast was continental and had typical pastries, meats and cheeses of the area, but some looked as if they'd been sitting on the buffet for a long time and were discoloured or dried out. The bar closed relatively early and no light snacks were available in the evening - only meals in the restaurant, where it was difficult to get the attention of waiting staff. We discovered a dead cat in one of the swimming pools on our first day and it was still there when we were about to leave two days later. Very distresssing and I was surprised it hadn't been moved by staff.
