Riad UP

The breakfast was superb. The courtyard was stunning, with the dipping pool and the banana palm tree which had bananas on it…

It was extremely difficult to find .Not well sign posted and it cost us €15 euros for a guy to help us find the Riad after paying a taxi from the bus stop which also was expensive… We were concerned that the bedroom could not be locked from the inside and a small padlock was the only mechanism to secure the bedroom door from the outside.This issue needs to be addressed.

Staff was extremely courteous and friendly and facilities were clean.

The owner made us pay in the local currency even though we were using a credit card. She claimed that it was beneficial to us and even though we'd heard otherwise, we went along with her recommendation because one of us was sick. Later we found that we had paid $20 more than we would have had we paid in dollars. We felt cheated.

Gorgeous interior and lovely staff. A member of staff kindly came to meet us from the taxi rank so we didn’t get lost in the medina. Tasty breakfast.

Noise from guests coming home late at night, knocking on the entrance door to gain entry.

We loved our stay at Riad UP! The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful, especially the design and attention to detail. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, as was the owner, Elsa. The location is also perfect—you feel very safe and are just a short walk from the famous streets of Marrakech, filled with great shopping, restaurants, and more.

The light, and it was really calm

Absolutely gorgeous with artistic flair. The dining area is so cozy, the rooftop and main room stunning. And the location-wow-right around the corner from a main artery to everything. The owner and staff were helpful and kind. Oh and the food-delicious!

The Riad UP is beautiful,calm and relaxing space. The room was well equipped, clean with excellent bedding. The breakfast was exceptional, simple and healthy. Coffee great too. I highly recommend the Road Up.

Sometimes at night the souk is a bit daunting. Trying to find your way home was a challenge.
