The decor can use an update. The hotel hallway is dark and gloomy

"Functional but noisy"

Proximity to old town and size of room are good. Staff are really nice and helpful.

The hotel is on the last traffic street before the pedestrian zone starts and is surprisingly loud. Walls between rooms (next door and upstairs) are paper-thin, making loud noise like banging and voices a real problem. The hotel is okay if you’re a pilgrim who gets up early. If you want a relaxing lie-in, I suggest you sleep somewhere else.
