The Inch Hotel

Nous avons beaucoup aimé le cachet de l'hôtel et son style très "Scottish", ainsi que son emplacement à quelques minutes à pieds du centre de Fort Augustus. La chambre était spacieuse, la literie confortable, le petit déjeuner était excellent, ainsi que le repas du soir servi dans le restaurant de l'hôtel.

Booking was straightforward and the room was spacious and comfortable.

There was no real Scottish welcome - more business-like. Menu was limited and pricey for what we had. Food in general was good. Breakfast was good but lacked decent variety of fruits.

Great location, great views, nice hotel. Excellent food and service. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Eating area is a little plain, could be made to feel a bit cosier?

Schöner Empfangsbereich, helle Räume.. Der Kamin wurde angezündet, was eine schöne Atmosphäre schuf...

Wir hatten im 2 Stock ganz oben, das letzte Zimmer..Bett war sauber und bequem, das Zimmer schön groß.Das Badezimmer ging garnicht..Erstens war es nicht sehr sauber geputzt , und zeitweise hatte ich kein Wasser zum Zähne putzen, wenn man vorher die Toilettenspülung benutzt hat..,So etwas darf in einem Hotel nicht passieren.. Das Abendessen war gut, aber der Preis, völlig überteuert,für Slow Cooked Beef ( wo mehr Fett und Sehne als Fleisch war ) ...Überall bekommt man Tafelwasser auf den Tisch gestellt...Hier mussten wir 4,80 Pfund bezahlen... Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt für uns hier in keinster Weise..,

Poorly kept out dated toilets we’re disgusting and when we walked in the restaurant it was smelly like a greasy spoon cafè so ended up not staying It was just terrible do avoid at all cost

The location is absolutely stunning! The view to the Loch is really worth to book the room with a view for, if you can afford it. If not, there is a lovely little bench in front of the hotel where you can enjoy the view in quietness. The hotel in itself if what you imagine when you think of Scotland in terms of decorations and ambiance. A special note about the staff member (manager?) who took care of us during our stay; a very warm and professional person: thank you very much! We had dinner there and it was incredibly tasty.

The omelet and salmon for breakfast was a bit of a small portion but otherwise the breakfast was fantastic!
