no air con we were so uncomfortable and had no sleep

Prima locatie ten opzichte van het vliegveld en Birmingham en mooi landelijk gelegen

Er vinden veel feestjes zoals bruiloften plaats en dan kun je niet van alle faciliteiten gebruik maken. Dit wordt soms laat of niet gecommuniceerd. Wij hadden pech met de enorme hitte maar er zijn geen airco’s of ventilatoren en de mogelijkheden om ramen open te zetten is ook beperkt. Maar dat is niet heel veel beter in de rest van Engeland verwacht ik. Het is gewoon heel Engels. Als we de warmte en ongemakken wegdenken hebben we best een goed verblijf gehad

Room fine - food in restaurant excellent

Food was amazing and the staff were very helpful.

Fans to be a standard item in the rooms as it was very hot and also the side of the fridge was rather dirty and also the leg was broken on the stool / think a chair would have been better as a working stationX

The staff where all very friendly and accommodating.

It would have been nice if the hotel had let us know they were holding a school prom the night we were staying and therefore there was no chance of any sleep before midnight before we arrived at the property! The room was very tired, the blinds (a little of which remain in one piece) do not work and do not block out the light from the external motion triggered floodlight not helping with attempt to get some sleep. The bathroom smelt very musty despite us opening the window when we arrived

Nice grounds. Well presented. Friendly hotel staff. A busy night, but they were still polite.

Room at the top, only skylights (they did open, but the room felt claustrophobic). Very hot. The hot weather was not the hotel's fault. A fan was found once I requested one, or I would want a different room. Although the staff were friendly, the attitude of the men directing the cars left a lot to be desired.

Our bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean and well decorated. All the staff we spoke to were without exception, friendly, professional and courteous. A wide choice on the dinner menu with reasonably priced main courses.

Our room was let down by ill fitting and broken blinds. An easy and cheap fix is all that is needed. The continental breakfast was ok but lacked imagination. A few pastries, better range of jams/honey/marmalade, nicer bread and plain yoghurt would transform the offering. Not everyone wants or needs a cooked breakfast.
