"Great stay, clean and updated-- exceeded expectations!"

Stayed here because it was close to my sister's house while visiting. We were extremely pleased-- the place is nicer than the pictures and recently updated. Clean. Friendly staff, especially the woman at the front desk (owner I think) was very accommodating. We will stay again.

What a happy surprise our stay was. The suite was impeccably clean, and so comfortably designed. It was a little off the beaten track for us, but the friendly staff and fantastic room made us feel like we wanted to stay much longer. We'll definitely be back.

Next time I think we'll try and park in the back. Front parking is a little tight to the road.

"A 1950's motor lodge tranformed into a first class hotel."

Walt Whitman Motor Lodge was outstanding. The rooms were very large and newly remodeled. Extremely clean, bright, and cheery. Wonderful and friendly staff that took care of our every need. Location is excellent, right on Jericho Tpke less than a mile from great shops and restaurants. Everything was top notch.

This is a transformed 1950's style motor lodge, as is clear from the outside when you first drive up. Don't despair, because once you step into your room, you will be voerjoyed. What a wonderful place.
