Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort

La isla es preciosa y tiene un snorkel increíble. La habitación es muy amplia, con camas cómodas, baño grande, y aunque se empieza a notar que no es muy nuevo, todo está limpio y es agradable. El personal es muy servicial y amable. El servicio de boat transfer funciona bien. Organizan el tour del tiburón ballena, aunque casi que conviene más contratarlo en Oslob si lo quieres hacer.

Fuimos con media pensión. El desayuno era buffet, no mucha variedad pero estaba bien. La cena era un menú cerrado y se nos hizo un poco escasa; no era nada muy allá teniendo en cuenta que el precio por noche no es barato. El precio de las bebidas está un poco inflado de más, pero bueno al final es un sitio aislado.

The whole island is absolutely amazing and so beautiful. All the staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing is to much trouble for them. I will definitely be coming back in the future.

Nice enough resort. Good snorkelling around the island. Black out curtains are needed for the rooms as the garden lighting is really bright. Food is ok. Good place for a couple of nights.

The property has stunning views. The staff is very nice. The rooms are very spacious and nice. I saw a few people post about the rooms being out dated, ours was very modern. We had the private pool room and for $300 USD per night it was fair for the room that includes breakfast and dinner buffett. Unfortunately the food is absolutely terrible, ive had 2 and 3 star hotels around the Phillipines with much better food. The other negative would be the price of anything you buy. To give an example a can of coke is $5.50 USD, in comparison just down the road innthe same town, at a restaurant you can buy it for $0.50. We had a wedding on the main land and they only run boats back to the island 3 or 4 times a day. I said no problem I'll find a private fisherman to take us back after hours, they wont allow that, you must pay them $90 USD for the 9 minute boat ride. In comparison i had a local lined up that was happy to do it for $10. Another thing they need to address is the communication, they have a lunch buffett, they dont tell you it's not included or even tell you a price, but when you check out its $30 USD per person and they add it to your room. For comparison an all you can eat buffett style with much much better quality food 10 minutes away is $7. We definitely won't stay here again, we wont recommended this to any of our friends. If you're going to spend this kind of money in the Philippines you might as well go to Siargo or Palawan.
