Protea Hotel by Marriott Lusaka Tower

My stay was overall okay. For being a Radisson Blu, I thought the service was lacking. One night I tried to call for room service; I tried to call 5 times over the course of 10 minutes, both the OneTouch button and the general front desk, and no one picked up. Checking out, as well, was a dreadful process. It took 30 minutes to pay my bill. Hotel is comfortable, food was great, but the service - ouf.

I was most impressed and grateful for the honesty of the staff. I had not paid my taxi due to lack of cash when I arrived at 2.30am and the taxi unfortunately had not come back when I checked out. I left money in an envelope at the front desk asking them to hand it over to the taxi driver whose details I did not have. They gave it to him. I am so grateful!

The Staff members were very nice. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet. I recommend this hotel for anybody visiting Lusaka.

My stay was okay, the staff were friendly and efficient. The rooms could do with a few channels with international news on the TV.

From the first day I arrived at the hotel I felt like I was just at home I would recommend to anyone that day was pleasant

I probably had the best night's rest here, the bed was ridiculously comfortable. Although the room was a very nice size, as was the bathroom and walk in shower, the bathroom smelled and looked a tad moldy, so that was a bit of a turn off. The complimentary breakfast buffet was wonderful and the staff was pleasant, though i wished that they had more knowledge of the surrounding areas/things to do. When asked, they really drew a blank. The rooftop pool looks like a kiddie pool though, which was a little disappointing.

Good clean hotel at reasonable rates. Convenient for stop over

Apathy is the best way to describe it, I don’t think the hotel or the employees care at all

Service was poor, communication was poor, they just don’t care There was nothing specifically wrong with the hotel, but don’t go there thinking you will have a grand experience

Nice room! I can recommend it to stay weekend trip since Sunday market is near.
