Very friendly and helpful staff (Martin) Breakfast buffet in the garden was wonderful

A/c in the room was not strong enough for the heatwave and parking in the garage was a bit difficult

Ubicación y el jardín interior que tiene, una pasada. El desayuno muy completo y el personal muy amable.

Que no tuviera ascensor, por lo menos para acceder a la habitación que nos asignaron (al llevar carrito de bebé se nos complicó), pero por lo demás todo perfecto.

The location was superb. Quiet but easy walking to the main square. Loved the gorgeous garden which was a delight to come back to after a day of sightseeing.

Our room was a little on the dark side as the window was slightly hidden behind a wardrobe.

We enjoyed our two-night stay at Hotel Porta San Mamola. It is located on a quiet street within easy walking distance of the Piazza Maggiore and all sites. There are good restaurants close by, and a valet parking option is available. We took advantage of the lovely, shaded courtyard as it was quite hot during our stay in Bologna. The breakfast buffet offers a lot of fresh options. Our room was a spacious suite a few doors down from the main hotel, which was no problem. We arrived early and our bags were stored and later delivered to our room. All staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a good hotel choice.

We liked everything

Quirky building. Individual rooms with lovely bathrooms. A peaceful and cool outside seating area.

I didn’t dislike anything. It is not in the centre of town (which I liked) but some people might prefer to be a bit closer. It was only a 10-15 slow walk.
