Cleanliness and old decor

This is a below average embassy suites. It’s a step up from a hampton inn (which I have no problem with but it’s about expectations). Bed was not comfortable. Sofa was not comfortable. Room is dated. Breakfast again was a step up from a hampton inn - no fresh cut fruit. Not the typical atrium like at an embassy suites. Entire hotel is extremely dark. The location was great and the room was clean. But below average for the brand.

I loved the location! It was near a lot good stores and restaurants.

The furniture and carpet were a little outdated.

The property was beautiful. Rooms where clean and comfortable

Breakfast was not as expected. Very different from other locations I have stayed.

Good location

My booking for my stay was not found even though I had my confirmation number. Had to contact booking. Com which was not easy to find a phone number so I got upset. But come to find out booking.com put me down for the wrong date even though my confirmation had the correct date. My room was finally confirmed but it was located behind the elevator so we heard it the entire stay. The jacuzzi was filled in with concrete but online it still shows it had one.

Leaving

Moldy shower head and spiders in the bed. Yes that’s a plural.. spiders. Disappointing and couldn’t get out of there fast enough. $245 I would’ve thought I’d have a clean room.

Cheese steak sandwich was excellent.

Not offered honors benefits, indifferent help with check in. Weren't informed that parking is now a charge after we've stayed there many times in the past.

The lobby

Cold pool, mild in shower, management wouldn't take my calls to explain my issue. I left without staying the night.
