Hôtel de l'Etang

Francois and his family are engaging and friendly hosts. The setting is tranquil and unique with a >200 yr old holding pond surrounded by beautiful Sycamore trees. We really lucked out finding this place and drove easily to Lourmarin, Gordes, Goult, Bonnieux, etc.

Nice hotel in lovely location.Owners fairly friendly, room overlooking the Etang (a large man made rectangular pond), provided a pleasant view although many diners outside inevitably made quite a lot of noise and cigarette smoke meaning, we could not really have the windows open. Good secure parking, internet fair, room large, with tiny but useful fridge.Air con excellent.Picturesque Cucuron village is well worth a visit.

hidden little gateway magnificent village. Extremely nice owner, feels like private home. Basically, you get the keys of the hotel doors and parking, and you do what you want, like a private place. Impossible to rate with stars, this place is non-typical and charming

The Hotel was very well situated for our explorations of the area, Room was very big and clean/comfortable for our 3 nights and the Hotel Staff were very helpful, printing off maps to vinyards, etc. Hotel is situated in a quaint square overlooking a large square with pond, and a local market selling allsorts was there during our visit. Quiet and Good Value.

A good couple of nights spent looking around this area where the film a good year was shot The restaurant & bar with the same name is separate but good none the less The restaurant petit maison is michelin class with prices to match & very good

Wonderful experience eating fresh sweet strawberries in the sun at breakfast time. Great setting beside the etang and plane trees. Lovely village that everyone should get to see. Alain our host was delightful and went out of his way to be helpful.

The hotel have every we need, large room, very clean

Very much enjoyed our stay for 3 days.

We arrived late on that date, gentleman from De L'ang restaurant ,which is just located next Door of the hotel, helped us to call the hotel staff. The staff showed up really quickly and guide us to the private car park and lift our luggage to the room. The room has front water pool view and everything is tidy and makes us feel like home. Would definitely recommend to fridend and visit again! cyndi
