Markakis Studios Fira

We had a family of 4 so some extra space was helpful. We had a 2 bedroom suite with plenty of sleeping and living space. Location was outstanding, short walk to bus and taxi stations, which is critical for Santorini without a car. Cleaning was ok, but not great (floor a little dirty, some spider webs, etc). Pool is very small, but a nice feature. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The personnel at the hotel are very nice and gave us very good information about the attractions on the island and how to get around. I recommend the hotel. Is more like a serviced apartment as you can not have breakfast...you have to buy your own food. . But they help and there is a supermarket close buy to buy things for breakfast and cafes in case you don't want to cook..

It wa good staying. It was close to the city center but not noisy. The front staff was not in during 12:00pm to 8am.

Great budget stay for one night. Triple room was like a small studio with kitchenette. Bathroom was clean but not very comfortable to use. Beds were good, so was wifi. Staff was very friendly and helpful. 5 mins away from Fira Bus Station. Plenty of eateries around.

Had a pleasant 3 night stay. Shower is tiny but overall good stay.

Location is great for those using public transport as near the square and only 10 minutes walk (up hill) from the Caldera. We could see the sea on the other side of the island, above the roof tops, from the balcony outside room number 10. Rooms are pretty basic but value for money overall, our room was too dark for me (very subjective) and a bit tired to be honest....so good for a couple of nights if you’re looking for somewhere to put your head down and get out exploring during the day. Room was tidied each day and staff were helpful and pleasant. Other rooms had larger outside areas which looked over the small but attractive pool area, so I guess all rooms are different and I did book last minute!!

It was a great choice in hotels. The accommodations were comfortable, the service was fantastic and the location was great.

This studio accommodation was in a fantastic location- one block down from main town square, one block over from the main bus terminal of the whole island! Busses from Fira go everywhere on the island regularly. The room we booked had two twin beds pushed together, a kitchenette, private bathroom, beautiful balcony with gorgeous flower like roof. AC in the bedroom (we needed help with it initially but worked just fine rest of the time). Daily room cleaning while we were out and about, very safe and trusting. A cozy, beautiful, perfect location kind of a studio! Would recommend without any hesitation!
