Hotell Göta

They don't have a front desk so this can be inconvenient because they send you an email or SMS with instructions. Luckily i received mine and was able to get in. Unfortunately Orbitz doesn't identify these types of hotels as some 2 stars have them and some don't. The wifi was very poor. I had to sit on a chair next to my room door to get reception. The bed and bathroom were fine. The window coverings were poor. I would choose another hotel and even spend slightly more if you can. Not worth it.

It was good stay. Nice city view from balcony. Near to eveything what person looks for during their first visit.

Cosy hotel in the city center. Booked a double bed room but got a single room with an extra bed, maybe due to late booking. Anyway I stayed just one night and had a good sleep.

I arrived early and the staff let me check in early with no problem. The hotel was in the middle of everything I really like it and I would absolutely go back again

After staying in so many hotels around the world this is one of the worst I've stayed in, which is a surprise considering it was in Sweden. To get into the place there is a buzzer system, which is a first for me. Then the place is untidy, filthy. The girl behind the reception checked me in fine and she was friendly, but when I got to my room, there was a dirty used mop rested against the door of my room. When I got in the room was stinking of bad body odour. The floor was filthy and the rug was an utter disgrace, it should be binned. I had to open the window fully and leave the room because of the smell. The furniture looked like it had been there since the sixties, and the under side of the sink hadn't been cleaned in ages. Two other guests complained in the morning that they were freezing during the night, which didn't bother me as I like a cold room to sleep in, This is the first bad review I've ever given to a hotel and I hope it's the last. Won't be back here, it's an awful place.

It was quite nice for one night but little expensive for the hotel it self.

We really enjoyed our stay and the staff was great. The room was simple and clean. The breakfast area was charming and you're located right near the castle and a 5 minute walk to the train. It's not a new hotel but it's not dirty - maybe a little worn but it has some personality. Our bed was softer than I'm used to but really there is nothing to complain about, great place all in all.

Great place to stay! Clean, good location and good service.
