Het bijna enige restaurant van de stad zit in het hotel en er komen ook locals. Eten niet hoogstaand. Parkeren ruim voldoende. Grote supermarkt tegenover het hotel. Wel mooie landschappen en wandeltochten in de omgeving.

Het ontbijt was zeer karig, en moest je bestellen vanaf de menukaart. Koffie was lauw. De kamers simpel en gedateerd. Het stonk op de gang naar frituur. Ontbijt 2e dag maar overgeslagen. Stad Thurso & Wick zijn niet mooi. Deze gewoon overslaan

Breakfast let down the stay vegetarian breakfast was terrible no meat alternativejust a breakfast with no sausage or bacon....beans cold ...returned came back slightly warmer but not edible...evening meal good but went in bar for drink and felt uncomfortable as all tables booked for food no place to just relax with drink....potentially nice place but could be better

Handy for NC500

Property was OK and the lady at reception in the afternoon of 11 May was very nice as was the lady at breakfast on 12 May. Very helpful. The breakfast was also very good. However, when I arrived the room was quite smelly with the smell of BO. I opened the window, sprayed the room with perfume and the smell went away and I carried on. I mentioned this to the man on reception on the morning of my departure and his response was “No problem” in the tone of “you’re welcome like he’d done ma a favour. No apologies whatsoever ever. Well it would have been a problem for a lot of other customers and had I have been with my wife, I’d have asked for another room. There is also a banging like a construction drill going off after the hot tap had been run.
