"Excellent"

Staff were excellent but were overstretched on the night we stayed. Dinner was delayed by over an hour and half and eating late does not suit me due to a family party. There is not much else in Thurso so was glad to have hot food anyway. Food was good and breakfast ok.

Great evening meal menu, delicious food, friendly service. Breakfast was fantastic.

The extractor from the kitchen was a little loud but it went off at 9ish once service was complete so no big issue.

Spacious, clean, and comfortable rooms with good showers. Excellent dinner, decent breakfast and lovely staff. Convenient location with parking, easy to find, and within walking distance of town.

"Exceptional"

A good, well-run hotel. No criticisms. Also, we had a slight problem with a noisy resident in the next room to us. I contacted the night porter who quickly sorted things out, calmly, politely and effectively. The restaurant is exceptionally good - way above the general standard of freezer to microwave meals you encounter so often.
