"A Peaceful Place"

10.0

The room had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. The gardens are WONDERFUL. There are hammocks and comfortable chairs and blankets if you’re cold and a fire pit!!! So peaceful and relaxing. The breakfast was good. The dining room was comfortable and roomy. There are lots of games for the guests to use in the dining room. We are glad we stayed there.

"Not a very welcoming scene. Neglected, buggy, lacking adequate management."

4.0

Stayed 3 night end of July 2025 for our anniversary. First impression: no smiling inn keeper in fact no staff at all evident at 3pm. Envelope on locked lobby/dining room gave instructions. Front stoop of our Kachina Casita had mouse poop all over outdoor furniture and entry rug. Room was decorated cute but bent screens allowed lots of bugs inside and all the corners and a long the walls had dead bug. There was dark black hairs in the shower and the refrigerator had not been properly cleaned. The grounds were unkempt and none of the walkways had been swept in quite a while. Breakfast was very good one morning and cook Mikayla was a gem. The other two morning breakfasts were prepared by a different cook and were just so so and small portions unless you wanted cold oatmeal. Breakfast was available for 1 hour only. Never saw a manager nor host nor grounds maintenance in three nights four days. It was disclosed no housekeeping for 3 night or less stays. I was able to get a couple clean towels. Robes provided in room were very comfy. Downtown is about 6 blocks so theoretically you could walk, but the side streets are extremely narrow and dark. We could not get WI FI in our Casita. Parking was very tight and not well lighted. For $200 per night there are better options in Taos. Maybe it was great when someone cared, but now the place seems neglected and unwelcoming.

"Magical place"

10.0

I had such a wonderful stay at the Dreamcatcher! The beds were incredibly comfortable …some of the best sleep I’ve had while traveling. Super clean! The staff was warm, welcoming, and truly made me feel at home. Breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious, freshly prepared and such a treat to start the day. I can’t wait to come back and highly recommend to anyone wanting a special Taos experience.

I only stayed for a day but it was a stay to remember. The check in time was later than I’m used to but you have your own parking spot reserved with your room, you walk though a beautiful garden to get to the room, we reserved the storyteller suite, so our view faces the setting sun which was gorgeous. We didn’t need to talk to anyone because of the contactless check in which was very convenient and hassle free. The room itself was beautifully decorated and clean, the bathroom was also very nice except for the water pressure wasn’t great, but understandably so. Another note with the bathroom it the window, toilet and mirror placement. It’s hard to describe but the window is blocking the only convenient place to look in the mirror and do makeup, hair etc. The garden lounge area was wonderful I personally enjoyed the hammock, it was quiet and you could bird watch through the trees. Breakfast was probably my favorite part of the stay, I was welcomed to an array of breakfast beverages and sat at a beautifully decorated table, breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly. The seating and table got a little crowded once more people showed, luckily me and my partner got first pick and finished early to allow other our table when they came later. The hotel is a 10 minute walk or 3 minute drive from the town plaza, there was plenty to do without driving, very convenient! Overall 10/10 I will be planning all further trips to Taos NM at the Dreamcatcher B&B

"Nice place to hang out in Taos"

8.0

Overall, Dreamcatcher was a very pleasant place. My room was huge... 3 beds! But it shared a wall (and a glass door) with the kitchen/laundry area and therefore got rather noisy at 6 am each morning. (Suggestion: replace the glass door with a solid door.) The breakfasts were outstanding and served promptly each morning. Nice hot showers and a lovely outdoor area for hanging around made my 3 night stay very pleasant.

"Special Place"

10.0

This is a special place. The rooms are quaint and well appointed. We loved the New Mexico style decorations! Oleander is such a GEM and served a delicious breakfast and helped answer all our TAOS questions. Very clean, peaceful and close to town. They even had cookies and a welcome note in our room upon arrival!

"A waste of money to stay in unsanitary, broken, buggy conditions."

2.0

I encountered multiple problems at this venue that ruined my stay in Taos. There was no soap in the bathroom and no kleenex. I stayed in "Katchina" room which has a serious beetle problem, dozens of them crawling on the walls, floors and window sills. The mini-fridge froze all the food I lost $40 in groceries. The TV and Wireless during my two day stay did not work, and the room lighting was so dim that I could not read. So at night I sat in the dark. No housekeeping even though the description said there is daily housekeeping service. My travel companion's room was not made up when she arrived, dirty sheets on an unmade bed and towels on the bathroom floor. This is a sub-standard poorly managed property that provides and very poor hospitality, and terrible sanitation. I wrote TWO emails to the management about the problems and they even bothered to respond.

Nice part of town off of La Lomita Road. Very short drive to the town center. Breakfast was cooked each morning. Rooms were kept comfortable with climate control but was a little tight for space. Beautiful courtyard/garden area to walk around or sit and relax under shade of large trees.
