Fable Christchurch

The staff were exceptional. I arrived very early in the morning and they were so friendly and accommodating, even getting me ice for the ankle I'd just sprained. Location was fantastic, very central and with New Regent Street Quarter literally across the road. Room was comfortable and clean and I enjoyed that they even had robes for guest use in the bathrooms.

Location is ideal for attending events at Isaac Theatre Royal and the court theatre.

Awful smell of fresh paint on our floor level. Decorators were working on nearby rooms from 7.30am, unnecessarily noisy. Hotel Restaurant was closed for a function and nearby restaurants had no availability. We had to have hotel room service at an extra delivery fee which is rather unfair! Only gave us one set of cutlery for two meals.

very clean, excellent staff, great location close to shops, the spa bath is soooo goood.

Room was nice with a fantastic view but the main attraction were the staff who (to a person) were all super helpful, professional, helpful and really went the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay. The location is also exceptional - right across from New Regent which has great bars, restaurants and boutiques. Would definitely stay here again when next in Chch.

Room decor is slightly bland but I'm looking for bad points here. Perfectly pleasant (and view spectacular as previously noted).

Hotel in a good location - near car rental office and facilities. Room was more than adequate, clean and modern
