Great staff /clean facility

Very clean new hotel. Easy Parking. Close restaurants.

The accommodations were "sufficient". The room was clean and the hotel functioned at an acceptable level but there was significant failure in small areas. Attention to detail in the room needs work; the room was clean, but there were failures in small ways: the television chosen for the room was a smart tv but had no connection (why?), the toilet paper was what one might expect in a motel (it was missing perforations), the toiletries one would usually expect from Holiday Inn lacked the conditioner that was normally provided, and the bed was far too soft-- enough so that I had back-problems after sleeping on it for a single night. I did, however, like the fact that the four pillows provided were all of different firmness levels, and the noise dampening of the room made me forget I was right next to I-5. The front end staff at check in was welcoming and pleasant in a genuine way, but the morning reception had a very performance-level politeness that suggested she would rather be somewhere else. Sadly, the breakfast bar was greatly lacking as I arrived at 7:30 and about 2/3 of the items were empty (no hot foods except for a single biscuit, no cinnamon buns, and almost no gravy and the pancake dispenser was out)-- apparently they had a single staff member attending to it and she had walked away. I went back at 8:30, hoping the situation had changed, only to find that there was a similar situation (they had restocked the cinnamon buns and there were more biscuits and gravy, but still no eggs or sausage). I am a great fan of Holiday Inn, and an IHG Gold Member, but I would definitely hesitate to stay at this particular location in the future.

Jocelyn Sales Associate was very Professional. I told her I used to be in the Hotel Industry. Customer service is everything. She explained all the amenities. We need more people like her in this field. Breakfast was amazing.

The Turkey Sausage needs to be cooked a little more. They were under cooked.
